Join us in making a difference every day.

The Ella Rose Foundation, created in honor of our daughter, Ella, a
courageous 14-year-old currently receiving care at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). Ella was diagnosed in February 2024 with Wilms tumor, a pediatric kidney cancer. She bravely underwent surgery to remove her left kidney and completed treatment in December 2024. In July 2025, Ella experienced a recurrence. While this was difficult news, her strength and spirit continue to guide us every day.

Ella has been dancing since she was a young girl. Her love of dance has been the highlight of her life. She has performed in numerous competitions thru Adage Dance Studio. She got to meet with some of the dancers of Dancing with the Stars at CHLA when they were there visiting and heard of Ella's love of dance. They even invited her to a taping of one of their shows. The support of CHLA patients from groups like Dancing With The Stars is very special.

As a long time fan of hockey, Ella was fortunate enough to meet some of the LA Kings hockey team. The LA kings are a large supporter of CHLA and many players offered their support for Ella and all the kids at CHLA.

Family is very important to Ella and all the kids at CHLA. The love of family helps kids like Ella and others at CHLA get threw some very rough times. Ella received a lot of support from her whole family and friends.

Our family has witnessed firsthand the physical, emotional, and financial challenges that come with a childhood cancer diagnosis. The Ella Rose Foundation exists to turn our journey into action—supporting children and families facing pediatric cancer with practical help, compassion, and hope.
- Provide emergency grants for essentials like transportation, lodging, and meals during treatment.
- Create care packages for patients and siblings to bring comfort on long hospital days.
- Partner with hospital social workers to identify families with urgent needs.
- Fund programs that support mental health and survivorship.
- Raise awareness of Wilms tumor and pediatric cancer.
- Donate funds to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) to support patient assistance, family services, and pediatric oncology research.
Every contribution—whether a donation, sponsorship, volunteer time, or in-kind. support—directly helps families navigating an uncertain and overwhelming time. Together, we can make the road a little gentler for children like Ella.
